Beca de 3 meses
UICC y Cancer Council Victoria se complacen en invitar a abogados que trabajan en control del cáncer a postularse para una beca de 3 meses en el McCabe Centre de Ley y Cáncer en Melbourne.
Meta: La meta de la beca es proveer oportunidades a abogados trabajando en control del cáncer a desarrollar sus habilidades y experiencia al trabajar en proyectos de interés para ellos durante un puesto de 3-meses en el McCabe Centre, en colaboración con McCabe Centre y el staff del Cancer Council Victoria, y colaboradores académicos y otros del McCabe Centre.
Duración: Aproximadamente 3 meses (en fecha a ser acordada entre el becario y el McCabe Centre)
Criterio de Elegibilidad: Los candidatos, preferiblemente de países de ingresos bajo o medianos, deben tener una calificación académica en ley y antecedentes profesionales de relevancia.
El candidato debería tener la habiidad de demostrar cómo contribuirá la beca propuesta al control del cáncer en forma nacional, regional o internacional.
Fecha límite de presentación: 1º de Julio 2012

McCabe Centre for Law and Cancer in Melbourne, Australia
3 month fellowship
UICC and Cancer Council Victoria are pleased to invite lawyers working in cancer control to apply for a 3 month fellowship at the McCabe Centre for Law and Cancer in Melbourne.
Aim: The aim of the fellowship is to provide opportunities for lawyers working in cancer control to develop their skills and expertise by working on projects of interest to them during a 3-month placement at the McCabe Centre, in collaboration with McCabe Centre and Cancer Council Victoria staff, and academic and other McCabe Centre collaborators.
Duration: Approximately 3 months (at a time to be agreed between the fellow and the McCabe Centre)
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates, preferably from low or middle income countries, must have an academic qualification in law and relevant professional background.
The candidate should have the ability to demonstrate how the proposed fellowship will contribute to cancer control nationally, regionally or internationally.
Application closing date: 1st of July 2012

ESMO 14º Congreso Mundial de Cáncer Gastrointestinal

Este Congreso es el evento global líder en el campo, abarcando tumores malignos afectando cada componente del tracto gastrointestinal y aspectos relacionados con el cuidado de pacientes con cáncer gastrointestinal, incluyendo screening, diagnóstico y las últimas opciones de manejo de tumores comunes y poco comunes.

For sixth consecutive year, The Best of ASCO will take place, an event of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), in which for two days, the main topics presented during the most important annual event of the medical society of the US are analized.
